SOURCE OF JOY

When Asomugha met American actress Washington, the pain and sadness from her 2007 public breakup from her fiancé, David Moscow, left her heartbroken.

Since meeting in 2010, Washington has gone from heartbreak to happiness with Asomugha, whom she wed in 2013 after three years of being friends.

THEY MET IN A THEATER

The duo met for the first time in 2010 when a mutual friend took the footballer to see the actress perform in the Broadway show, "Race." Washington described it as her best stage performance for obvious reasons.

The father of three revealed that spending time with his kids is more important than anything else.

A PRIVATE LOVE LIFE

Just like Washington, Asomugha keeps his love life and family matters out of public view. He enjoyed a super-secret wedding with Washington in 2013 after having a low profile relationship.

Pictures of him and his wife are rare on social media, but the couple is vocal about their love and commitment to their lovely family.

A REMARKABLE FOOTBALL CAREER

In 2003, Asomugha was drafted by the Oakland Raiders, where he spent the first eight seasons of his career. He also spent time with Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers jerseys.

The cornerback is a three-time pro bowler. Although he retired in 2013, his career continued to attract accolades. In 2016, Pro Football Focus voted him the Best Raider of the Past Decade.

A RECOGNIZED PRODUCER

Shortly after he retired from sports, Asomugha went full time into his second hobby — movies. His first spell in the movie industry came in 2009, where his acting talents were nursed.

In 2015, he produced the wartime movie, "Beasts of No Nation," which earned a Golden Globe nomination. A few years later, he starred in and produced the biopic, "Crown Heights."

He also produced 2019's Harriet Tubman biopic, "Harriet," and made his Broadway debut in "A Soldier's Play."

HE HAS A HUGE HEART

The father of three loves to give back to the community through charity and philanthropy, which he does with his beloved wife, Washington.

In 2010, he launched the Asomugha Foundation, which provides underprivileged widows and orphans in Nigeria with scholarships and essential needs.

SPENDING TIME WITH HIS KIDS

The good looking producer and former sports star is a father of three who takes his daddy duties with all seriousness and fun.

Asomugha and Washington have two children together — daughter Isabelle and son Caleb. He is also a father to a 12-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

The father of three revealed that spending time with his kids is more important than anything else. When he is not working, he would rather be home.
